INVOLUCRADOS

Involucrados has become the icon of our social action thanks to the positive impact it has on both the company and the beneficiary entities. In its 15 years of life we have collaborated with more than 40 social entities contributing to make social projects a reality around the world.

Through Involucrados, two solidarity sales are organized annually in which the surpluses of the Women’secret, Springfield, Cortefiel and Pedro del Hierro collections are used. The total collection is destined entirely to the selected projects.

This project succeeds thanks to all the people who give life to Involucrados: the jury, our partners, social entities and all the volunteers of the company. If you want to know the project, go to its website.

ALWAYS YES to breast cancer prevention

The Post Sugery Bras project was born in 2013, the result of a collaboration between Women’secret and the Dexeus Mujer Foundation, whose objective is to contribute to improving the quality of life of women with cancer and normalizing the disease. It is a line of lingerie and swimwear created for women who have suffered from this cancer, designed to be able to adapt to the use of prostheses or post-surgical use.

In recent years, breast cancer diagnoses in young women, which are often hereditary, have increased. The campaign presented by both firms this year, under the name SIEMPRE SI, aims, precisely, to reinforce prevention, and is carried out through the sale of a collection of underwear in order to obtain funds to facilitate free access to genetic testing of women with a possible hereditary profile and who are at risk.

PERFECTLY IMPERFECT to raise awareness of disabilities

Cortefiel supports the Cadete Foundation with the Perfectos Imperfectos project with the aim of positively highlighting how children born with a disability are imperfect, different, and original.

100% of the money raised from selling the capsule collection made up of different menswear and womenswear garments has been put towards it. Fifty-six children with different types and levels of disabilities have been provided financial assistance to receive rehabilitation treatment at 37 centres in the Community of Madrid.

Corporative volunteering

Through our corporate volunteering program We Are Volunteers, employees can actively collaborate in different social and environmental programs that offer them the opportunity to add value to society.

With this initiative, the company places the talent of its professionals at the service of Third Sector organizations to generate an internal and external impact, being closer to the community.

The program revolves around two main lines of action: the integration of groups at risk of social exclusion and the protection of the environment.

Síndrome de Down de Madrid Foundation

More than 20 volunteers give workshops to the students of the Foundation’s FOCUS training programme where young people with disabilities are provided with a space for their personal and educational development once they finish their schooling. As part of the business, hospitality and tourism modules, Tendam’s volunteers provide training workshops on personal styling and job interviews for their future incorporation into the labour market.

Quiero Trabajo Foundation

The volunteers from Tendam collaborate with the Quiero Trabajo Foundation, boosting the employability of women who are at risk of social exclusion due to their situation: migrants, persons seeking international protection and refugees, women over 45 years old, single mothers, etc.

The volunteers have helped 18 women, offering styling and mentoring sessions with the aim of empowering them and increasing their selfesteem so that they can feel confident and secure during recruitment processes.
