The communication group Custommedia, publisher of the specialized media outlets CompromisoRSE and Personas, Equipos & Talento, held a new edition of Sustainability Day at the Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid. During the event, CompromisoRSE presented the Sustainability Actions 2025 awards, which acknowledge outstanding sustainability projects and initiatives carried out over the past year by public administrations, companies, academic institutions, NGOs, foundations, organizations and startups.
In this edition, CompromisoRSE recognized the ‘Tendam Sustainability Lab’ initiative, developed in collaboration with the University of Design, Innovation and Technology (UDIT). The award was accepted by Ignacio Sierra, Corporate General Manager of Tendam, together with Juan Cayón Peña, Rector of UDIT. This recognition reinforces the shared commitment to sustainability training for key teams, as well as to innovation, applied research, and the transition towards a more sustainable business model.
The event brought together more than 800 professionals in the auditoriums of the Reina Sofía Museum, where experiences, success stories and reflections on current environmental and social challenges were shared. In addition, specialized Workshops were held to explore, in smaller groups, key sustainability issues that have a significant impact on organizations.
Sustainability Day 25 featured over 30 speakers from companies such as Acciona, BBVA, CaixaBank, Iberdrola, ING and Santander, as well as experts from consulting firms including EY, KPMG and PwC. Twenty sustainability best practices from leading companies in the country were also presented.
