Pedro del Hierro unveiled its new Fall/Winter 2026–2027 collection, “Winter Garden,” at the iconic Crystal Gallery of the Cibeles Palace, as part of the 83rd edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid. The collection reflects on invisible elegance and the beauty hidden in the details.

Inspired by the famous phrase from The Little Prince, “What is essential is invisible to the eye,” the collection invited viewers to pause and appreciate each garment in detail, discovering the nuances and contrasts that define subtle and sophisticated elegance. Winter Garden celebrates the beauty of decay, of the delicate and the wild, and explores humanity’s relationship with nature. This concept was brought to life on the runway through a set design that transformed the Crystal Gallery of the Cibeles Palace into a contemporary garden beneath its glass dome, encapsulating nature within an urban sanctuary.

The experience was elevated by a specially designed musical production for the show: the MSDA Madrid Symphonic Orchestra, composed of 28 musicians, accompanied each look with an immersive atmosphere, transforming the runway into a true theatrical spectacle. The repertoire—including iconic classics such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, and other Tchaikovsky dances, alongside the intermezzo from Carmen by Bizet and Cavalleria Rusticana by Mascagni—reinforced the dialogue between fashion and music, giving the show the prominence it deserved while connecting it with other artistic disciplines.

Nacho Aguayo’s women’s collection blended darkness and decadence with flashes of light and luxury. The runway showcased textures such as moiré, wool, and faux fur, enriched with pearls, lace, and delicate contrasts. Silver and gold appeared in garments and accessories with references to ornithology and botany, reinforcing the natural imagery. Standout pieces included dresses echoing the 1920s, oversized pants with ties, and theatrical shoulders that added drama to the silhouette.

Álex Miralles presented a men’s collection that redefined masculinity through British dandyism and romantic sensitivity. The tailoring featured sharp cuts and fitted silhouettes, complemented by knitwear in alpaca and mohair, as well as slightly flared trousers. The color palette included browns, greens, and blues, accented with mustard and off-white tones. The collection closed with reinterpretations of red carpet elegance: matador-style tuxedos and dressing-gown coats in alpaca and cashmere.

Three looks from the TFP by Tamara Falcó collection walked the runway, combining pieces from different lines. Highlights included a silk blouse paired with black trousers and an orange sash from Pedro del Hierro, a lime-green suit accessorized with brand pieces and a feathered headdress, and a look featuring beige trousers with a red cape from the upcoming collection. All of the outfits paid homage to Pedro del Hierro’s collection, incorporating brooches inspired by ornithology and botany.

Winter Garden established itself as one of Pedro del Hierro’s most evocative collections in this edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid. Inspired by the idea of discovering beauty in the details, the collection brought to the runway a universe of contrasts, rich textures, and sophisticated silhouettes that engaged with the natural imagery of the show. With this presentation, the brand reaffirmed its creative signature and its ability to reinterpret the codes of contemporary elegance through a modern and refined lens.
