Mar Oña has 15 years’ experience in senior management roles in different firms within the legal sector. Her previous employers include Prosegur and Clifford Chance.

Tendam, one of Europe’s leading fashion retailers operating in the specialised chain segment through the Cortefiel, Pedro del Hierro, Springfield, Women’secret and Fifty brands, has today announced the appointment of Mar Oña as Director of Legal Services.

Oña will head up the fashion retailer’s legal department and will also sit on its Management Committee, reporting directly to the CEO. She will also take up the role of non-member Secretary of the Board.

Mar Oña has extensive experience working in the legal sector. Among others, she held the role of Director of Corporate Legal Services at Prosegur for over five years. In the last year, she has held the posts of Secretary General and Secretary of the Board at Prosegur Cash. She also reached the position of Senior Associate at law firm Clifford Chance.

Tendam’s new director holds a Degree in Law from Universidad Autónoma of Madrid and a Postgraduate Degree in International Law from Bucerius Law School of Hamburg (Germany). She has also lectured on International Private Law at Universidad Castilla La Mancha.
