{"id":7210,"date":"2026-04-09T12:40:14","date_gmt":"2026-04-09T10:40:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tendam.es\/?p=7210"},"modified":"2026-04-09T12:45:13","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T10:45:13","slug":"the-involucrados-solidarity-project-selects-four-new-social-organizations-for-its-2026-edition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tendam.es\/en\/the-involucrados-solidarity-project-selects-four-new-social-organizations-for-its-2026-edition\/","title":{"rendered":"The Involucrados Solidarity Project Selects Four New Social Organizations for Its 2026 Edition"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>ADELA, Fundaci\u00f3n Alas Madrid, ASION, and Fundaci\u00f3n Kirira have been chosen for the 21st edition of the initiative<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The project\u2019s jury is composed of representatives from Springfield, Women\u2019secret, Pedro del Hierro, and Cortefiel, members of the Tendam Works Council, and collaborating partners: DHL, NH Hotels, IDLogistic, and Fundaci\u00f3n Lealtad<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Representatives from Tendam, together with members of DHL, NH Hotels, IDLogistic, and Fundaci\u00f3n Lealtad, have selected the four solidarity projects. The initiatives were chosen for their direct impact on the quality of life of people in vulnerable situations, addressing areas such as health, disability, childhood, and education. The selected projects will be funded through the proceeds of two charity markets\u2014one held in spring and the other in autumn\u2014at the Eurobuilding Hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The winners of this edition are: Comprehensive Home Care for People with ALS, by Fundaci\u00f3n ADELA; Caring Where It\u2019s Most Needed: Healthy Aging and End-of-Life Care, managed by Fundaci\u00f3n Alas; Weaving Support Networks in Childhood and Adolescent Cancer, presented by ASION; and Comprehensive Care and Tendam Scholarships to Ensure a Future Free of Violence, overseen by Fundaci\u00f3n Kirira.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nearly fifty social initiatives with national and international reach applied for this edition, seeking funding to carry out healthcare, physical and psychological therapy, protection, training, and support programs. Over its twenty-year history, Involucrados has raised nearly \u20ac2 million through charity markets, distributed across more than 70 projects. The annual call, held in the first quarter of each year, receives a large number of applications from social organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Projects<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Pedro del Hierro<\/strong> will support ADELA and its project <strong>\u201cComprehensive Home Care for People with ALS: Caring Where It\u2019s Most Needed\u201d<\/strong>, which aims to improve quality of life and preserve the autonomy of people with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis in early and intermediate stages. The nationwide program provides specialized home care, including physiotherapy, speech therapy, and caregiving support, reducing family burden and reaching 168 beneficiaries across Spain.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Cortefiel<\/strong> will back Fundaci\u00f3n Alas Madrid with its project <strong>\u201cHealthy Aging and End-of-Life Care\u201d<\/strong>, which provides support for adults with intellectual disabilities who are aging, receiving palliative care, or in end-of-life situations in the Moratalaz neighborhood, with the goal of improving safety, comfort, and quality of life. The project is expected to benefit 115 people.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Springfield<\/strong> will fund ASION and its initiative <strong>\u201cWeaving Support Networks in Childhood and Adolescent Cancer: Comprehensive Care\u201d<\/strong>, which seeks to ensure multidisciplinary care for children and adolescents with cancer, as well as their families in the Madrid region. The project covers physical, psychological, social, and educational support, reaching 2,600 people.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Women\u2019secret<\/strong> will collaborate with Fundaci\u00f3n Kirira on the project <strong>\u201cTENDAM Scholarships to Ensure a Future Free of Violence\u201d<\/strong>, aimed at guaranteeing access to education and protection for girls and young women in rural communities in Kenya. This initiative will directly impact 27,008 beneficiaries, promoting a safer future with greater opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, on <strong>March 25<\/strong>, the checks were delivered to the winners of the previous edition, with each organization receiving \u20ac<strong>45,208<\/strong>. The event also celebrated the <strong>20th anniversary of Involucrados<\/strong> and brought together some of the organizations that have been part of the project.
