Cortefiel collects the amount of 49,000 euros for the project Perfectos Imperfectos of the Cadete Foundation thanks to the sale of a capsule collection consisting of two t-shirts and a sweatshirt. The main objective of this solidarity initiative has been to raise awareness of disability.

With this collaboration, 59 boys and girls with different types and degrees of disability will be granted rehabilitation treatments to receive treatments in 37 centres in the Community of Madrid. In total, 140 people will benefit, including direct relatives, father and/or mother and sibling or dependent relative.

During the presentation of the cheque, the general director of Cortefiel and Pedro del Hierro, Marie Castellví, recalled that collaborating with the Cadete Foundation has been an enriching experience for the entire Cortefiel team; we have learned how important it is to work for the social integration of people with physical, mental or sensory disabilities.

For her part, the director of the Cadete Foundation, Inés Santías, said that this collaboration with Cortefiel has been a success because it has given much visibility to the project and especially to children with disabilities, which has meant that the figure reached can be applied to 59 treatments.

Cortefiel and the Cadete Foundation have worked on this project with the aim of highlighting in a positive way the imperfect, the different and the original of children who were born with a disability. The result achieved has encouraged both entities to continue with the project in 2020.

100% of the proceeds from the sale of the collection, which began in April and ended last August, have been earmarked. Treatments will begin next October and will last for 10 months.

Through the solidarity project Perfectos Imperfectos both institutions have developed this campaign to support the rehabilitation treatments, which allow children to have a better future.

During the first weeks Perfectos Imperfectos had the collaboration of Eva González, Nuria Roca and Saúl Craviotto to help claim the perfection of the imperfect. Their involvement has been very positive and has contributed to getting more children receive more help in this way.
