Almost one hundred Tendam brand stores now open to the public on international markets
07 / May / 2020
Tendam, one of the major specialist fashion groups in Europe, comprising the commercial brands Cortefiel, Pedro del Hierro, pringfield, Women’secret and Fifty, has reopened over 90 stores internationally in the past few days after the lockdown periods imposed on different markets due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Between its own stores and franchises, Tendam has reopened stores on the four continents where it operates. In Europe, they are open in shopping centres and department stores in Germany, Croatia, Hungary, Malta, Norway, Portugal and Serbia. In the Middle East, where Tendam operates via franchises, stores are up and running in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, Jordan and Iran. Costa Rica is the first American country to reopen. These locations will gradually be joined over the coming days by key markets for the group’s own stores, such as France, Belgium, Russia and Spain, among others.
The reopened stores are operating normally – with all necessary safety and hygiene measures in place – offering customers their new collections.
Stores are adhering to the opening hours and health and safety guidelines recommended by the relevant authorities, and the firm has also put strict procedures in place for the protection of staff and customers. These include the use of masks and gloves, limits on the number of people in stores, disinfection of fitting room after each use, layout changes to improve in-store circulation, prioritising payment by card or phone, social distancing, etc.
